Retention is the New Recruiting – Right from the Start!

In a tight labor market are you struggling to keep your best talent? According to the 2017 Retention Report from the Work Institute, 34% of turnover happens in the first year and turnover at this point can be more costly than long term employees because of the time it takes for a new employee to add value to the organization.

While most organizations understand the role the recruitment process plays, strategies to retain employees begin with the onboarding and orientation process making it imperative that it is impactful.

Join us as we start the year off learning strategies to enhance your onboarding process and improve the likelihood of retaining great employees.

Before her experience at Memorial, Julie worked with the local YMCA for many years helping to lay the foundation for the afterschool programs in the local public schools and served as a consultant to the YMCA’s in Scotland and the Republic of China.
